Found objects

This is a close up of the technique I used for the background of my painting. I scraped the paint on using cardboard to give it texture.

This is the finished painting.

My picture looks similar in style (and the background which I used aspects of) to Max Ernst's 'Elephant of Celebes'. His painting looks more animal like but I think they are both equally surreal.
